Merge Two C++ Projects

I have a C++ Project ( 24U Plugin Template Folder ) that gets an input from Filemaker Runs a function ( SDKTest Folder ) gets the output from Function and returns the result to filemaker. Project 1 complete except that it needs to call a function to pass an XML string to Quickbooks and pass the response from QB back. Quickbooks has a sample project that has all the code to communicate with Quickbooks. I do not program in C++ and needs assistance merging these projects. The following is the section of code we need merged into our 24U Project from the QuickBooks SDKTest project.
