Terah Antwi (born on 24th February 1993) is a final year PhD student at Regional Transport Research and Education Centre Kumasi (TRECK) in KNUST. He holds a BSc and MPhil Geomatic Engineering degree from the same university. Currently, he is a graduate assistant at TRECK, and a part-time assistant lecturer at Kumasi Technical University (KSTU). He is also a co-founder of a start-up, Geobot Africa Consult, that specializes in using geospatial technologies for engineering surveys.
He is an ardent young researcher that has interest in applying spatial data science (GeoAI) in transportation and health related issues. He exhibits professionalism, strong motivation, competence, and integrity as a team player. He has good strength in mathematics and computer programming. He also aspires to be a researcher to help bridge the gap between applied academic research and industry.
Terah Antwi has authored/co-authored about five peer reviewed journal papers, presented many conference papers both at international and local platforms. He is part of the recent team that won a grant for essential GIS training for Transport Industry players.
I have skills in CAD geometric design, spatial network modeling, remote sensing techniques, spatial analytical models, digital image processing, machine learning and Geo statistics. I have good programming skills and I am an expert in both Microsoft word and Excel.
