My name is Anthony Saia and I am the former Station Manager for KUOI 89.3 FM at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. KUOI is a 400-watt student owned and operated free-format station located on the UI campus that serves a listenership of 15,000+ and simulcasts terrestrial and internet streams.
I had been station manager for the past two years, program director for one, and a volunteer DJ my first year. Ultimately, I have been involved in KUOI for the past four years.
This past May, I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Art. I was a non-traditional student, and the first in my family to go to college as well as the first to graduate high school.
I supported myself during the entirety of my college career working as a Sound Technician for Sound, Production and Lighting, an auxiliary business to the University where I worked as the office coordinator, scheduling sound technicians for events and covering events when there was no one available.
If I was doing that, I was going to shows and interviewing artists like Abe Cunningham ([login to view URL]) & Chino Moreno ([login to view URL]), Mic Todd ([login to view URL]) formerly of Coheed & Cambria, or doing phoners with Dez Fafara ([login to view URL]), Adam D. ([login to view URL]) and Wayne Static ([login to view URL]).
Lastly, if I wasn't doing that, I was part of the street team for The Syndicate in Weehawken, NJ. Currently, I have only organized one event for them so far but it was a two-day showing of Cameron Crowe's Pearl Jam Twenty. Overall, the event was pretty successful and I had a great time.
I am available for professional voice overs, production work, concert promotion and online marketing. Thanks for looking.
