While the first two editions of the #ShareTheLoad campaign spoke to husbands and fathers, with the third edition was aimed at parents, parents who wanted to empower their daughters with education so that they can pursue jobs in the future but aren’t teaching their sons to help with household chores.

How could we even begin to fight the battle when our competition, ash, was free of cost and easily available? How do we make a low involvement category stand out, winning a fiercer, battle with ash, which has been a preferred way of cleaning utensils for centuries? c] The game plan [By]: The no brainer There’s no religious event in the world that attracts an enormous audience, like the Kumbh. The super bowl for Indian marketeers, Kumbh was unmissable for Vim!

Vaseline Headline: Journey of Healing Subhead: Enabling pilgrims travel to Kumbh to heal their souls, Vaseline travels around to heal their sole. Helping The Opportunity In India, religious journeys are of utmost importance, they are the epitome of ‘power of faith’. When it comes to Kumbh, the scale goes much higher, this year around 240 million people visited the sacred place in 49-days religious mela. Their journeys are the testament of their faith and perseverance where they combat coarse terrain, immersion in the cold sacred waters, the biting cold weather, walking barefoot for days but still complete their journey because they believe that tougher the journey, the better the returns. Vaseline aimed at creating a bigger brand purpose in the life of millions at one go and this was the best place to do so! The Behaviour challenges Vaseline has always been perceived as a body care product and is supposed to have a very small role, but it plays a larger role in people’s life. T

Problem: Research shows that oceans will have more plastic than fish by 2050. Plastic pollution in seas also adversely impacts livelihoods in India’s fishing communities. Game Plan: To make the Indian masses catalysts for change by joining Hindustan Unilever in the pursuit of transforming plastic waste from seas, into enablers for the affected communities. Idea: ‘Plastic Banega Fantastic’ introduced the notion that refused plastic has the potential to become remarkable. Championing its cause from day one, the campaign was launched at ground zero of plastic pollution – a fishing community. Celebrities, influencers and NGOs encouraged civilian volunteers to participate in clean-up drives across three cities. Plastic collected from the affected communities was recycled and transformed into boats and nets that improved the fisherfolk’s livelihoods. Result: 4,350+ volunteers started a little good. 40,000+ Kgs of good plastic was collected. 80 boats sailed with new hope. 200 fishing nets

Burdened by domestic chores and gender norms, women are unable to fulfil their dreams of working, earning and contributing to household expenses. Wheel, India’s leading detergent in rural India ambitioned to uproot this ingrained cultural behaviour. To achieve this, an innovative cycle-based washing machine was created that cuts down wash time by 1 hour, freeing up time for women to pursue their dreams. 30 of these were stationed at the Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering, where there are no other clothes washing facilities. Pilgrims lined up to use these wash-o-cycles. While they were there, we inspired husband to be the catalyst of change with an emotional though provoking film. We also gave them DIY instructions to create their own wash-o-cycle back home. The intervention inspired men and women to take a fresh look at old gender norms.

Omnigel - Inspired by ornaments devotees wear with utmost faith we envisaged Rahat Ratan (A jewel of relief) - designed on the principles of magnetic therapy and human anatomy an amulet to contain Omingel, India’s no.1 pain recovery gel. Our wearable accessory offers on-the-go access to Omnigel for quick recovery from body pains. Targeting Magh Mela, country’s largest annual gatherings with 80 million+ devotees and competing against 150+ brands. We concentrated on 30,000 Sahayaks (workers) working for 14+ hours every day while bearing extreme physical strains. Reaching them at their duty points, we facilitated them with our innovative sampling. We further engaged with them through our recovery centres equipped with physiotherapists. By enabling Sahyaks to fully participate in their duties we ensured product retention and usage. The initiative earned many first with $350k of earned media, 35 million+ impressions, 25% increase in brand awareness and 1.2% increase in market share
