- I purchased a website and received the email contact information for this person. - This person asked that I create a project here on Freelancer. - I created the project and funded the account. - I received a few inquiries that I thought were based on the traffic and authentic. - A couple of days later this person requested that I release payment because all of the work has been done and that I would continue to receive traffic. - I released the funds. - The very next day this person said that I wouldn't receive traffic for a week because they wouldn't have internet access. - My experience with this person has been terrible. - Communication is very poor and this person will only sporadically communicate via email and NEVER via Freelancer - He appears to be delivering fake traffic from exchange networks. For example, many of the emails are one line very similar questions. I never receive replies and never receive any sales. - Additionally, every email that I have received has been from a Gmail account. - The latest email that I received used Emma Stone as their profile headshot. - I tried to give this person the benefit of the doubt but they have failed to perform time and time again. - Based on my experience, this does not appear to be a legitimate operation. - Based on my experience, this person should be removed from Freelancer. - The good news is that with the help of a Freelancer staff member, I was able to find a different, very legitimate website promoter.
