If I had to isolate my top 3 skillsets as a freelancer they would be writing/editing (I'll count them as one...), product content management, and designing/building small business websites (extremely quickly and economically.)
With a lifetime knack for creative writing, a B.S. in International Studies with a Business Minor, 6yrs at a web marketing agency (as an SEO Analyst, Graphic Designer, and ultimately the Web Marketing Director) my foundation was set. But having owned, co-owned, and/or sold nearly a dozen internet businesses myself (personally managing all content, design/dev, marketing/advertising, etc) is what truly sets me apart from the pack.
I know first-hand how critical your brand identity is. Your web content is the first experience your clients, prospects and employees have with you, and is the most publicly accessible component of your company.
These personal, educational, and professional experiences have made me uniquely qualified to freelance for all things web.
