I started my career as an assistant to research projects conducted by the University and joined to NGO sector as a resource person for various community based projects and humanitarian activities. Later, I started my public service journey as a Development Officer which transformed to the Agriculture Monitoring Officer. During my service under these two positions, I worked with the community with the objective of implementing government priority activities. Meantime, I continued my duties to NGO sector as a project coordinator and perhaps a multidisciplinary resource person. Eventually I passed the recruitment examination for the Sri Lanka Planning Service and then I started my career as Professional Development Planner of Sri Lanka Planning Service since June 22,2009 and continued government service till now holding different positions under this [login to view URL] technical assistance and guidance to preparation of long term, Mid-term and short term result framework for western provincial council aligned to national policy frame. Carrying out need assessment exercise of all ministerial development sectors and preparation of resource allocation plans. Management of all capital sources of finance (Local and Foreign) and executing western provincial development plan. All plans are formulated aligning to Sustainable Development Goals stipulated by UN and National Adaptation Plan for Climatic change in addition to the Sri Lanka Government policies. All ministries under the Western Provincial Council of Sri Lanka formulated plans under ministry portfolios under my supervision and technical guidance. I am the key person of implementing Monitoring and Evaluation process of all development projects under Western Provincial Council. Liaison with financial commission in relation to fund allocation for provincial development plan. Giving technical assistance and guidance to preparation of long term, Mid-term and short term result framework for western provincial council aligned to national policy frame. Carrying out need assessment exercise of all ministerial development sectors and preparation of resource allocation plans.
