Zachary J. Moore (b. 1992), third place winner of both the American Prize in 2014 and the Marvin Hamlisch International Contest in 2018, is an American composer, arranger and educator from Waukesha, WI. He graduated in 2015 from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with his bachelors in Music Education.
Over the past ten years, Zach's works have been performed internationally in five different continents in prestigious events and locations such as Carnegie Hall (2016, 2018), The Taipei National Concert Hall (2014, 2015), the 75th Anniversary Concert of President Franklin D. Roosevelt (2015). In addition to this, Zach's works have been performed by high school and collegiate ensembles at many state, regional and national music conventions.
In total, over the last five years, Zach has been commissioned a total of 17 times. In the last year, he has completed two short films.
