More specifically, I am interested in the carbon pathway for denitrification compared to the sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) pathway. I aim to eliminate H2S and want to focus on the ratio of NO3 to SO2-4. The chosen metric for comparison of carbon usage is the amount of methane produced.
