I am looking to have someone put together a CD-bootable restore disk for use in providing "system restore" disks to the clients of our computer retail company. The boot program must be graphical, and must be able to handle multiple-CD images. The program must be able to handle not only regular hard drives, but SATA and SCSI. RAID support would be excellent. I would like develop a SCSI storage subsystem using a Linux PC server. The hardware will be a generic Pentium server running Linux 2.4.x with software RAID. I want to export this MD block device as a target storage to an external host. The SCSI HBA selected is a LSI Logic's LSI20320-R Single Channel U320 SCSI HBA. I need a device driver for windows 2000 that does the following: It makes a share on a remote machine look like a harddrive to the OS. It should allow all the normal disk commands... i.e. Format should wipe the directory out. Creating a partition should split the "drive" up possibly using subfolders.
