Hi Would you please provide me some more details about protocol, whether it has start/stop symbols or maybe it's message length is predefined. Other than that, it is interesting project to implement and doe snot sound very complicated. Also I need to know are you going to use commercial SSL cert or self-signed is OK? This is more important from the client perspective, client has to trust your certificate.

Although I am new for freelancer website but I have long working experience with Netty. I have developed a netty based server which is supporting 50K concurrent players and recently migrated on 4.1.6 version. This connection server also include watermark , cap on maximum number of supported connection, session reconnect on disconnection and automatic IP blocking on connection flood from specific IP. Admin for monitoring /generating the reports about data in/out on sockets. I also have knowledge on proxy-protocol and web socket support.
