Help with a very simple weather app

I'm trying to create my first app in adobe animate/actionscript. I'm not a very skilled programmer yet and therefor this app is pretty simple but I still have some issues that I would like to get some help with. I don't think it will take too long for someone with more experience than me to solve this. The app is a weather app that is going to represent the local temperature in London (in celsius) and have four different icons representing the weather. I have created the icons in animate. I am using a weather api from openweathermap, an xml. And when I'm testing my app nothing is happening and I don't get any feedback from animate on what I did wrong in the coding, so it would be really helpful if someone here could help me finish this and make it work. I don't know if there is something wrong with my api or if you could help me adjust the code to maybe make it work? I have uploaded the project file here and I have written comments in the actionscript code trying to explain everything, please let me know if there is something I should explain more.
