A UK based 24/7 news web site, focusing on the international news (mostly on the Middle East), is in the process of hiring a new staff. The work involves editing and rewriting news items and writing political and political commentary articles. The work requires good command of writing and editing. It can start immediately, is about 20 hours a week. The staff should be based in Europe. English should be the mother language. A university degree is necessary. Individuals with background in writing on international politics and issues, would be preferred. Individuals with journalism background will be given priority. On line interview might be required. The salary on hourly basis is negotiable to some degree and can vary according to the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
