Hi there, I like to work on your project. I have review your requirements and suggested implementation is to develop a Windows or WPF application. It will run on the background or system tray to monitor the source folder and run the inserts. It will have simple interface to start or stop the process. Let me know if you need the source folder and connection string configurable on the user interface or by just by the configuration file is fine. I have some questions: 1. All files must have the string "I|CheckSum|..." at the end, is this correct? And the string for example: "FileNumbeJ|1827015" for whatever value, can be ignore? Hey, What i would suggest is the software be able to be installed as a running service rather than an application, this service will sit in the back and process the files. After which it will do the insert into the database.
