Executive Virtual Assistant

Project Description: I own Matthews Yard, a cafe, bar, workspace and live entertainment venue in London. We are looking for a SUPER Virtual Assistant to provide a range of remote back office support services in return for hourly pay. I am looking for an advanced level administrator with excellent communication skills, a degree and at least 5 years experience working as a PA, Secretary, Administrator or VA. You should have an analytical mind, be familiar with Google Docs - including advanced features of spreadsheets such as formulas. You will be confident and able to work on your own initiative. You will be responsible for the following ongoing tasks: General Administration Managing membership database, issuing welcome packs and renewal emails. Handling first line enquiries to our general email address. Managing a range of other documents and spreadsheets, ensuring we operate the business in a well organised way. Finance raising invoices for clients in Xero reconciling bank accounts in Xero processing daily taking sheets in Google Docs. entering receipts and invoices payable in Xero and reconciling with bank account transactions producing weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue summaries to a pre-agreed format managing payroll and providing me with a list of payments due to the part-time team members on a weekly basis and full time team members on a monthly basis. HR issuing contracts and job descriptions managing training regime and induction programme roster for staff on duty in cafe and bar according to availability manage holiday requests manage disciplinary and grievance procedures monthly review of due diligence records - flagging gaps (check our team on he ground are completing fire safety, risk assessments, food safety and other due diligence tasks in a timely fashion). Essential Skills: Fluent spoken and written English, Degree Educated, 70 WPM typing speed. High level of technical skills including Google Docs, Accounts and bookkeeping knowledge and experience. Ability to learn. Desirable Skills: Knowledge of using Xero Accounts application. Ability to work with Photoshop. An eye for design. Technical skills such as video editing, wordpress administration, etc. Immediate start available, initial 1 day paid trial on hourly rate. Long term work for the right candidate.
