Job Description - Office Administrator (IMPORTANT: Please only apply if you are in the Nelson, New Zealand area) About us: Stallard Scientific Editing (SSE) provides scientific editing services to clients worldwide. Most of our work is proof-reading scientific manuscripts from university researchers. The jobs are assigned to our editing staff, who are also based worldwide. We need a second Office Administrator to work together with our existing administrator, to liaise with staff and clients, and to coordinate the handling of proof-reading jobs. Position Title: Office Administration to coordinate staff and clients. Work from home, permanent part-time Start date: Immediately Purpose: - Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business - Communicate via email with clients and staff to effectively coordinate the editing of scientific manuscripts to the highest standard Type: - Permanent, part-time (potentially full-time in the future) - Flexible hours, including some work in the weekends (1-2 hrs, as they occur). To some degree, exact work hours are flexible and can accommodate personal preference. - Approx. 20 hrs/week Responsibilities - Email communication with clients and freelance staff - Schedule jobs and ensure completion on time - work with SSE's custom database (training provided) - create and send quotes and other documents (e.g. receipts, letters) as required Skills: - Computer literacy - Optional: database skills - Use of MS Office - Communicating with clients and staff by email - Organisation and attention to detail - Initiative and problem solving

Im sorry Im not in Nelson area but I just thought that if doesn't require for you not being physically located in Nelson, Im fit for the job. I have been in the call center business for 10 years and have exposure on Admin works, email response and back office entries.
