I run a very small business buying and selling trading cards, often these cards are auctioned over facebook. My accounting process is currently Copy and paste names next to a card into a google sheets file Put the price paid for each card, track postage ect. I'm looking for somone to macro my spreadsheet(preferably over googlesheets, but excell is a backup) to interface with the API here, [login to view URL] so when i enter a card name in column A, setname in column B, it should pull the price from [login to view URL] and display it in column D, the endstate being, i know how close to retail price i sold the card for, it also means i can "hype" an underperforming card before the auction closes. Examples are as follows I enter Tarmogoyf in column A [login to view URL] Now tarmogoyf has different printings, column B should now display me the options for each printing, so i can select the correct one. Column C should check if the card is "foil" or not, and then the script should pull the correct price from the [login to view URL] API and display it. I have had a friend that does software development look it over, and advise me that VB.net is the smoothest way to implement this, however i am not set on that as a solution
