The answers are: for modeling we use 3d max/cinema 4d or rhino based on your needs; no, I do not made other projects for boat but I did lot of technical modeling; yes, I can prepare files to cut aluminum sheets; buoyancy is something new to me but for sure I can investigate and calculate it. Hello, Recently graduated from a naval architecture engineer school (ENSTA Bretagne) and having ended the last 30th September my end of study internship within the offshore racing shipyard BG Race in Saint Malo, I think I can be the person you are looking for Having done my last internship at BG Race, I completed my engineer education with the learning of composite yacht construction processes. I have been working on the customization of the IMOCA 60ft Bureau Vallée (new roof, staking track, pivoting chart table...) but also on the organization of the Archambault mass production line. Despite having had opportunities to work on different projects related to naval architecture in recent years (From a 360 passenger boat project supervised by naval architects from the famous french company DCNS, and a class 950 sailboat draft supervised by four naval architects), this internship had brought me a great insight on the design of sailboats itself by confronting me to construction issues. I use Rhino3D as modelling software. So I can make 3D but also 2D plans exporting them in dxf or dwg (depending on what you prefer) For buoyancy / stability calculations I use Maat Hydro.
