Package Design

OVERVIEW: GOTO Fulfillment Services is seeking a freelance designer to design 4 retail box packages for our Himalayan salt brand. The designer will be provided with graphic assets that currently resemble the look and feel of the brand, dieline for the packaging, and written content for the packaging. The designer is responsible for utilizing the assets and content as well as developing any supplemental graphic assets that will make for an eye-catching package design. Candidates must have extensive experience and specialty in packaging design and print design. They must also be proficient and familiar with graphic design principles as well as preparing files for print. Designer must also be able to work with strict deadlines in place, meeting each assigned milestone deadline. DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES: -Create 4 retail packaging designs for our line of Himalayan salt products. -Effectively use the available assets and content as well as develop any necessary graphics -to accentuate the product and maintain the look of the brand. -Must utilize Adobe Creative Suite collection in order to create packaging. -Must be able to work under and meet milestone deadlines. -Must provide consistent updates on both mockups and revisions. -Provide suggestions on how to make packaging both appealing and competitive against those in similar market. -Produces final product along with native files for current and future usage. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -Specializes and has extensive experience in packaging design and print design -Must be creative, highly organized, and have a strong eye for detail and design to fit the brand. -Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite tools: Photoshop and Illustrator. **Upon applying, designer is required to provide examples of past package design work.
