I don't know where to start of but I'm going to make a lot of projects. I'm in needing an illustrator to help me make illustrations for my books, and then I would like them to be animated. I was thinking that I would like to make them to an app, or game, because me and my daughter have lots and lots of ideas of what we want to be come reality. But that's still far away plan, first thing is I want some illustrations for my books and animate them. I wouldn't mind paying more for a high quality result, but I do need to know how much it would cost.
For this first project I would like the illustrator to create me the characters, there will be around 12 characters at first, with 4 of them being the main character. They are Jen, Nini, Lyn, and Gai. These are human characters which I would like you to create them with the characteristics I will give you, and maybe some sketches if that would help you.
Please do tell me what I need to prepare, and I would stick to the same illustrator for the whole project of illustration if this project goes well.

My process would be to do this by hand, then digitize it, I'd send you sketches for approval, then commence with the detail and color
