In search of a genuine expert capable and skilled in developing and directing a crowdfunding and crowdsourced go to market strategy. Why crowdfunding? Singular purpose, accelerated market entry and exit. Key business goal: Create an exit strategy for a business development effort that has been in the making for four years accumulating saleable inventory. Business sector: California boutique wine grape grower going to market with a Direct to Consumer, DTC, business plan. Timeline: 1 to 2 Year Plan of a multi staged effort with full execution to closure and exit. Compensation: Negotiable and very generous for achieving a high dollar exit. Several years ago, I took over a small Sierra Foothills wine grape grower operation with about 11,500 vines with the goal to restore it’s productive capacity, assess and pursue market opportunities to maximize per acre/per ton ROI, and at the right point in the timeline, create a go to market plan that will leverage the strengths of the operation such that an exist strategy can be executed. The vineyard restoration has been improving, driving production up every year and this coming harvest for 2019 should near, if not exceed, about 50 tons, about 7,375 gallons, or roughly 36,875 bottles. Each year a portion of the harvest not sold to wineries was set aside and went to long term barrel aging for a final saleable product; premium red wine. All of my harvest in 2018 went to custom crush with minimal grape sales to wineries. Note that before I took over, the vineyard had previously submitted two vintages to the California State Fair Wine Competitions and won Silver Medal in both years. I have a top quality product and know how to grow it. Full production numbers and wine on hand are available to discuss at the right time. Qualified candidate will: Be my effective partner to: Organize and refine a crowdfunding and crowdsourcing plan working with me. Identify the required resources required including selecting individuals and managing an appropriate marcom agency for program, staffing skills, and material support. Develop and manage the execution of the pre-market launch plan Develop and manage the first phase of the program that will be designed to obtain the shortest term reasonable to secure program success. Using the momentum of the first phase, integrate the learnings from that success to craft the second phase that will follow. This phase will set the terms for the exit and closure of this effort. This effort will shape, refine, and prove a new business model for carving out a niche direct to consumer sales system. There will be a satisfied customer base of repeat customers, we can call them club members for the moment, and this business will be then be packaged to be sold to a buyer that wants an instant customer base of at least 15,000+ customers.
