I'm a deep expert! Hey, I will use the Convolutional Neural Network. CNN is the best algorithm for Image data, with no doubt. I can tell what I am going to do exactly If I can get more details like see a few sample images, is the quality number categorical or numerical? Anyway, I have completed at least 30-40 projects like this. I will preprocess the images, augment it to create more data (rotate them, zoom them, crop them), and try different CNN model architecture, and use the best model. One problem: I don't know Android or iOS development. I can use "MLModel" library for converting the CNN model to a model in iOS format, but I am not sure about Android. If you want to go with me, I will only be able to do the part of building the model, you need to find someone else to integrate it with Android and iOS. I have years of experience working on production-level computer vision based applications such as smart surveillance, object detection and tracking, semantic and instance segmentation, face recognition, person-reidentification, facial attribute detection, and various other applications. I have a very broad knowledge from image processing algorithms to machine learning and deep learning techniques. I have a very good knowledge in python programming, openCV (both C++ and Python), and other libraries/tools neccesary such as tensorflow, keras, pytorch, etc. Moreover I am good with designing custom network layers, loss fucntions, etc depending on the requirements and also to optimize the models. The problem seems to be regression based, and if sequence of images are involved in predictions, then a combination of CNN-LSTM can be used to determine the final quality score. I hope you will consider me for this project. My approach would be to use an SSD mobileNet or a ConvNet since you'll be using on the Android/IOS to train the model in batches.
