Freelance Materials Engineer

We are developing a battery case and we are looking for a freelance materials engineer who can help us which plastic will give our desired strength and maintain lightweight.  The successful candidate should be comfortable working with other groups of engineers. Face-to-face would be good if possible. We can do Skype if necessary. Required Skills * Degree in materials engineering, technology or science * Good communication skills for presenting technical data (both in writing and orally) to colleagues from your discipline and other professionals * Ability to work as part of a team and to take individual responsibility and make decisions * Have commercial awareness * an interest in scientific and technical issues and a real interest in plastics * ability to apply scientific reasoning to industrial situations * strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability * excellent knowledge of maths and science and IT skills * the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
