80210 Affiliate program modification

Hello super programmers :) Thank you for taking the time to read this project. I have an existing set of two scripts. Both are very, very simple - and offer the functionality of a reseller program (also known as affiliate program). Members can signup to sell my ebook, and they are given a special referral URL, that they promote to earn. One script uses ClickBank, and the other PayPal, and they enable my resellers to specify their referral IDs for these two payment providers, and then they get a special link to promote my product that contains this information, and the script credits sales to the resellers etc. (It's a lot simpler than it sounds!) Recently, I paid a programmer to create cookies for the PayPal script, so that resellers could promote their special URL, and even if a customer returned at a later stage, the cookie would "remember" and credit sales to the referrer. (This has not increased the complexity of the two scripts very much at all) Now these two scripts work really well, and are very easy to install and understand. A good programmer will be able to understand exactly how they work in about 10 minutes. No complicated code or anything like that - straight forward with well labled variables and documentation that I can provide ... Ok - so that's the background information :) Now to the actual project! My old programmers have not written back, and so they may be busy - but I am in a RUSH! If possible, I would like to launch my reseller program in about 7 days, and hence I would like the following work to be done to the scripts: - Improve the "look" of the members area, where my affiliates (resellers) visit, to download their personal codes to promote my product. A nice slick look like this ScriptLance website would be great - greys and light blues. Should take you about 30 minutes max :) No wild graphics, just nice simply Verdana fonts, and well positioned tables to order things a little better. Simply a matter of changing the HTML contained in a ".cgi" script file so it looks a little neater ... - I would also like you to create extra functionality in the admin section, so that I can simply click "Add new marketing materials", and then type in the HTML for a new link, banner, email advertisement etc. When a reseller visits my website and provides their username and ID to enter (all done within the scripts), they will simply enter a nice looking reseller area, and will be able to select from a wide variety of market materials that I have specified in my admin control panel. (The admin control panel already exists as part of the scripts - so you just need to add a few more options), Resellers will then simply "cut and paste the code" to their computer, and it will contain their personal referral code that is provided by the script ... Then they will be able to see a large collection of marketing materials, that I have been able to add, that contain their referral codes. Now, the variable for the member referral code is pretty obvious, and the way the script is setup right now, it actually already displays their personal referral code as soon as they login to the reseller area. The script simply pulls a variable from a flat text file, and adds it onto the end of the reseller URL, to show the reseller what their promotional URL looks like. Obviously, I want the reseller to be able to click on say "banners", and then cut and paste the HTML code for several banners, and the code will have their personal referral details within. (It is really easy when you see the script, and get an idea for what I am saying) So, simply code the functionality into the admin area, that enables me to specify raw HTML code for the marketing materials, like banners, text links etc. For example, I think I would have to provide html for various things like banners, text links etc, and in the URL section of the advertisement, I would need to specify something like this [login to view URL][reseller_ID] where the [reseller_ID] is picked up as a variable within the script, and displayed to the reseller when they login. It simply takes the same HTML code for all my marketing materials, and then adds their referral code onto the end. Ok - that is it for now, but please note. This is a HUGE project that I have only just begun. I am using two old scripts, and will continue to add features and functions to them over time. If you do a good job on this project, then I will be keen to hire you, (and you alone) to work on my affiliate system for a LONG TIME. I want to make a very powerful system over the next three months ... Please keep your bids relative to the difficulty of this project. Personally, I think the whole thing is very easy, and would take a professional programmer about 2 hours to complete AT MOST. But, like I said - this is a fantastic opportunity to get in at the ground floor on a much bigger project.
