Com port program (com1 through com4)

Very simple com port program needed. Please see attached doc and .bmp this shows what I want. I need received input to be displaed and scanned. When a command is received over the com port, a LED icon is changed from red to green (or opposite.) Also, when a variable is received, it too should be displayed. Settings should be saved to registry key on exit. Please see attached. Please copy MS com port example. Windows C++ program.
