I own a wordpress website and use a plug in called affiliate WP . I had a developer make some changes to the Affiliate WP plug in (to create a custom dashboard for affiliates, which is all possible within AffiliateWP). What he didnt do was make the changes in a child theme, so every time an update happens with Wordpress, the changes are lost. The most notable change that is lost is the addition of a menu item in the afilliate dashboard called "GETTING STARTED". It's nothing complicate - it just contains two documents. Right now it all works fine and everything is there, but as soon a new change will happen it will be lost again. Right now the developer is changing it back each time at my expense so I'd like a proper developer with PHP and CSS experience to make sure it's re-done on a child theme. I WILL ONLY RESPOND TO THOSE WHO DESCRIBE HOW THEY'VE WORKED WITH CHILD THEMES IN THE PAST. ALL OTHERS WILL BE IGNORED. THANKS.
