Hi. I regularly create automated scripts that reboot after specified intervals (e.g. on hourly and daily basis). I have also used Python logger module and can read lines that indicate crash. The watchdog module will run in a separate thread and monitor the log file, and restart the script if needed. I can implement the solution very quickly (within a day if you need it urgently).
