The goal of this project is to create a platform for the sale of video pay per views. Check out [login to view URL]'s software or imagine hulu meets itunes functionality wise. This will be launched on a dedicated macOS server. Key features worth mentioning: It must be able to handle transcoding the media into mobile friendly format. No Flash, HTML 5 technologies. It must allow a seller to set a certain amount of the video as a preview, and then prompt for a payment. Sellers have the option of setting their own prices on different options like downloads, rentals. All of a sellers content is organized into a channel, with the seller having an option to set a monthly price for all their content. There needs to be an interface to tracking the sales, and pay the revenue split to the sellers. This is for a pro wrestling company. We are looking to launch a platform to help indy pro wrestlers worldwide monetize their craft. The goal of this project is to create a website. Next stages will include app development, ideally I would like someone who can handle that transition as well. The software must be all open source and we have the rights to keep and modify the software going forward. I would like this developed in Python, but I am open to any possibilities. I am open to discuss the goals of the project to gain a better understanding of the project. Please take a look at the enterprise version of Vimp to get an idea of the level of functionality I have in mind. I am weighing purchasing the vimp and developing from it vs having YOU develop it and have a better base to spring from for the future. And to be honest, we are a bootstrapped business... price to value ratio is a prime concern. Can you deliver?
