11gb XML import to wordpress website

I will import 11 GB xml file from old news website written in Java into your new wordpress website. I will complete this work in 3 - 4 days and total of 10 hours of work. I can handle 11GB XML files by splitting them up in smaller sets of articles usiong XSLT streaming. I can then transform the XML into a structur that I can easily map to the wordpress article format using the XML Importer plugin for wordpress. I can't promiss it is lossless before I see a sample, but if the XML comes from a java website, it will likely be lossless. I can't estimate the time required yet, because I likely need to map image references to different locations and figure out in the transform how to handle tables and mathematics if present. I guess 10 hours would give us a lot already

Hi! We can't be clear about time without you having submitted a sample rom the source XML file to be closely examined and assessed about how's the data set up, what's gonna map to what into wp post, categories,tags, atuhors etc. So please, make an excerpt having say 10-20 items from that XML, so it can be judged towards divercity etc. and send it over. translate xml to json than feed db with it

I think in this project at some stage of it there was a choice between such options: 1) convert that XML to a database and build a normal web app on top of it; 2) generate the pages right from that XML. I think it is possible to implement a solution for both of these solutions and then try them both to find which one would work better. Processing 11 gb XML file in java can be done with SAX or StAX parsers. While parsing it is possible to generate files and/or write records to a database - whatever path we choose. About the Word Press pages ... This should be clarified while parsing is being implemented. That's it!

Yes, I am wordpress developer for 9 years I can import your xml file to wordpress , it is kind of a long process to import 11 GB data to wordpress website does you have that kind of hosting and you can import only 256 mb file not more than that. you it need to be cut down to different files to import it to wordpress
