Hello there! I have 5 years experience building ML algorithms and deploying them on web and edge devices. I understand your problem statement clearly and I have the following questions for you. 1. If you intend to use CNN, I assume you don't want to use these handcrafted features like size, color, shape, etc. If that's the case, do you have sufficient data for both the classes - defected and not-defected ? 2. Do you just want to limit the classifier to a jupyter notebook or want to embed it on a website or deploy on an edge device (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, etc.) ?
