I have started a new channel on Youtube with the purpose of looking to provide sports content. We will be covering history, trivia and discuss topics relating to sports. I would prefer an editor with knowledge of sports so that I don't have to direct every detail that needs to be included in the video as it greatly slows down the creation process if I need to annotate heavily in the scripts. I'd also prefer someone with knowledge of memes/pop culture as I'm gearing my content towards the younger audience and I want to take "boring" topics from sports past and modernize them in a more entertaining and digestible way for the average young sports fan. These videos can vary in length but will most likely always be at least 10 minutes long ranging all the way up to podcast episodes that may end up being 2-3 hours in length but edits for podcasts will be minimal. I will provide a script that will include copious amounts of notes and what I would like to be put in, but I will also take feedback from an editor if they feel they have a better idea. This is an ongoing project so I want to build a relationship with 1-2 editors so that the content stays consistent and doesn't feel jarring with a different editor from video to video. I plan on creating 2-3 videos a week plus a podcast a week and ramping up from there.
tl;dr: I need an editor that has a great sense of humor (knows and understands most memes) and also loves sports (football and basketball) so that they understand the context of the content. this is an ongoing project so I'm going to need someone long term
