Looking for a 3D artist to work on a static car crash scene for a small...). Work would be remote and have flexible working hours according to your schedule. Main production period is in February and March 2022. Your task will be to build a damaged car model from an existing 3D model (undamaged), reference photography and partial 3D scans. This includes modelling in a software suite of your choice (currently model is in Autodesk Maya but we are also a fan of Blender) and some texturing work to make the model fit for the big screen. Deliverables would be the project file, original textures and a model export (obj / fbx). To simplify the process you will also receive the shot cameras as soon as they are available. This is going to be a fun project!

Hello I have received a .max file from a contact which contains a bunch of vRay textured files and i need that converted into Maya vRay with all the shaders and the texture connections intact. Furthermore i need every mesh to be individual and not just one big mesh. (There is approximately 100 elements in the scene.) The problem with the files i have recieved so far from the contact, is that in the conversion (they send me .fbx files) — is when i open their file in Maya all the vRay shaders and texture connections is 'broken' or not even there. When i open the file from the contact, there is 2 or 3 vRay shaders — when there in the original .max file is a lot more shaders. I have to modify a couple of cg shots by using maya with vray renderer. Looking for someone experienced in them.
