Our company has a Azure VM running SQL Server Standard which was built from an Azure template. We've found the cost however to be too high so want to downgrade to SQL Server web edition. After looking at the online documentation, the process isn't clear. We want the full process documented e.g. uninstall SQL Server standard, download the web edition from website X, install, update azure portal settings etc and any steps that need to be done. The document needs to fully explain each step with screen shots. It also needs to include any considerations around license keys or any other implications of this change.
