Responsibilities: This is an on-site interim 6-12 month project in St. Petersburg, FL, Cedar Rapids, IO and Denver, CO. This is only for the ones currently based in these cities Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and reconcile internal GL accounts Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a daily basis, as well as preparing reports Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping Prepare Journal Entries with appropriate supporting documentation and ensure they align with generally accepted accounting principles Requirements: Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization At least 2 years experience in general ledger accounting, or similar Proficiency in accounting and business management software, such as SAP, NetSuite and Zoho Books. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
