*Application for PR-051*
Hey,
I love this project. I really do. Not only do I love webscraping and Python, but I also have myself a very own XBMC-mediaserver(actually, it's an old laptop that I installed Arch Linux and XBMC on and cleverly hid behind the TV). I'm currently a third-year Artificial Intelligence student at Groningen University
I know I don't have the most amazing profile(I don't even have any reviews!), but I really really really really feel that I'm the guy for the job. The problem is convincing you of that :).
My hourly price is on the high end(15 dollars an hour). Without falling into the trap of generalizations and discrimination, there seems to be a trend with programmers mainly from India and other developing countries where people hire the developer for a really low hourly fee, only to find out the developer took three times as long, and, especially that, the code is written in a manner that means it will break at the first sight of trouble, and adding features is simply not possible. With some applications, that's OK. But video-websites change all the time, breaking stuff... all the time. I'm not pretending that my code will keep working when that happens. But what I am saying is that, a year from now, should the code break, not only I can fix it, but others can as well. And, a year from now, should you want ten more websites implemented, the architecture, VPN-code, all that stuff, will be nicely laid out, so developers can just plug in their expansion
