Android HAL

 In-Depth knowledge in Android / Linux  Experience in HAL is desired  Working knowledge on Multimedia(Audio/ Video/ Camera/ Display etc) is preferred  Experience in OpenMAX, Gstreamer, Stagefright etc are plus  Ability to comprehend technical aspects of non-domain skills/projects  Effective Requirement Elicitation skills (needs to be demonstrated in the primary projects as well as other projects (for which support is being provided))  Requirement Comprehension and ability to define and document the High-Level Design Approach for the project/solution  Ability to identify and deliver POCs and Demos in a record timeframe  Resolving complex system-level issues (in the project directly contributing as well as in projects that request consultancy) and reporting/resolving the root-cause  Ability to bring lateral thoughts and solutions to complex problems faced in projects/solutions  (across the organization)  Sharing of Approaches for effective Testing (and Test Automation)  Participation in External Forums (Paper Presentations, Discussion Forums etc.)  Patents and IP creation  Proficiency in various Design Principles and methods  Provide anchoring support for customer-technical visits  Organize and coordinate Demos for customer visit JOB DESCRIPTION:  You will discover an engineer within you by providing software solutions for the new age technological challenges faced by Industry.  You will be part of a strong cordial workforce which delight customers with solutions and support ranging from board bring up activities, sensor firmware, and Complex device drivers on Linux to maintaining the Android subsystem.  With an array of customers across globe, you will be constantly learning and delivering high quality solutions, being ahead of the technological challenges.
