Create an asp page that allows a excel csv file to be uploaded. This file then updates a table in a database. The page will match the productcode in the database to the csv, if there is a match then 7 fields are updated in the database. No match, then do nothing. After processing, the page will show results of code matches; if a code does not match the page will show the results of successful updates and unsuccessful updates.

Hi, This will be achieved as follows: 1. Create a Stored Procedure in database for Import 2. Create a temporary table and import all CSV data in temp table using BULK INSERT. 3. Join Permanent table with Temp table on ProductCode and update data. I have 8.5 years experience in ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.

Hello, I went through your requirements and understood that you are looking to validate the CSV file before uploading the data from it. Once uploaded, you need a change report. I believe you will also need validation on the values of CSV before uploading.
