I am an electronics engineer and my final year project was kinect based edutainment system for autistic children. The main task was the interfacing of kinect with Matlab and Arduino controller. Actions of remote controlled car was contolled through the directions given by kid standing in front of kinect. Your project just grabbed my attention and i am interested to work on it. But i dont owe a kinect so i dont know how it would work.
