BE AWARE - TWO PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY TRIED TO GET THIS GOING, AND HAVE FAILED This project is a repost because it is **NOT** simple. [login to view URL] The above link describes how to do this step by step - except it doesn't quite work because the C code supplied at this link is around 3 years old. Although it worked with the version of LightTPD that existed at the time, it does not compile against the current version. The original Author does not respond. The C code is short, and does not seem complex, but it is beyond me to get it to work. The C code enables the LIGHTTPD SERVER to write its ACCESS LOG out to the database. Yes - Apache does this by default, but LIGHTTPD does not. I want you to get LIGHTTPD to write its access log out to my database. LIGHTTPD and MariaDB are already installed and working on the Server. You will need to 1) compile the module as described in the link, and work out what the errors are to get around it, 2) List EXACTLY what you did step-by step so that I can repeat the process on my other server Access will be given via SSH and PHPMyadmin Thanks

Hi There, Actually, I saw you post this project yesterday, and one guy quickly accepted by you. And I have no chance to talk to you anymore, lol. Actually, you are right, the code is quite old, I tried to compile but failed to run it. So I checked the coding details found lot of things need to be changed even trunk code as the module need integrated to trunk code.(base one 1.4.32 version, other version should be same like latest 1.4.33). I only do a compiling, and debugged some code of the mysql access module. I know something need to be change than can be processed. If you are agree, I need 2 days to verify and change the module code and recompile. I need your lighttpd version number also. Don't try to accept my bid now, I will try to changing code tonight and give you confirmation after that. Hi, I have got this compiled and then only have bid for this project. Due to change in how the Remote user is logged in the new version of lighttpd, the code does not work out of the box with the new version of lighttpd and needs rewriting the C code for that section which I have done. As per your project description, I can get this compiled in your box and provide the suitable patches and a small README to replicate this in the future till there is no change in Lighttpd codebase which may affect it. I can guarantee that you would not need to repost this project again if you select me. Note: 1. Price is negotiable. 2. The lowest bid may not get you the job done. 3. How you patch the code also matters, it is easy to patch it by removing the logging functionality, but requires understanding of lighttpd data structures to patch it keeping the functionality intact.
