Hi there, I understand what it is you wish to create and I think it's a great idea. I'm not sure if your budget was set for an hourly wage, but I have bid on it as a complete project price. I hope your budget is not seriously 30 dollars because only the most unskilled freelancers will work for that, and I'm sure you don't want your time wasted on that kind of work. I am a mechanical engineering student (as a matter of fact, my specialization is automotive engineering) and I would like to work with you to design a complete and working system. Simply adding an airbag in a random place on the bumper will not realistically be enough to avoid damage to a car's chassis in the even of a collision. I have an intricate knowledge of vehicle systems and I can create a system that would correctly distribute impact loads. Ask yourself these questions, for example. What, if anything, will specifically trigger the airbags (a collision is a very broad answer). How will they be designed to deploy only during an impact, as opposed to someone bumping it with their knee? Will the system be dangerous to a pedestrian (air bags can cause bruises when deployed without a collision. An airbag designed to protect a vehicle would be even more powerful, and dangerous), etc. I can work with you start to finish to ensure you have a reliable, effective, and well thought out system that will do its job correctly.
