I am the English author of a book about acupuncture and moxibustion that has been translated into French. I'm looking for a freelancer to proofread the French version, 248 pages long, 60.000 words, with a focus on spelling and design consistency. I want changes to be entered into a page referenced revision sheet, so that my translator can review them. The book is in pdf format, so what you see is what the reader will see. The project requires a careful eye for detail and a native French speaker, with comprehensive understanding of the French language and its rules of grammar and punctuation. It needs to be read thoroughly and changes need to be tracked and recorded with precision. The goal is not to copy edit, but just to proof read. You don't need any prior knowledge of acupuncture or moxibustion. You do need previous experience of proofreading. Your role is solely to pick out typos and layout errors.
