There are my requirements: - Super lightweight, barebones embedded system for use on a low-end SoC (embedded device). - Supports all international keyboards, and full mouse and touch screen inputs - Upon boot, it should directly open a WebKit-based browser window, but without borders, tabs or any window chrome - Just the contents of a browser window with a local HTML file to fill the screen - It should work on any screen, and report the correct screen size to the browser (to be accessed through Javascript) - The browser should support the latest HTML5 and CSS3 standards, including in-browser playback support for all media types, and full Javascript support. - Browser user agent string should be changeable by me through editing a config file on disk - There should be a small Javascript browser API for updating the local HTML files (to be called only by the local scripts)
