A small insurance broker/agency using Microsoft Office 365 products, such as Outlook, so we desire interconnectivity where we can; that's why we chose Access 2013. We think that one of the Microsoft templates can be altered to capture this information. We collect client data, we fill in application forms (like the 3 example application forms we uploaded: two Acord and one from Hiscox), and send these to more than one wholesale broker, who, in turn, obtains various quotes for various coverage/policies from insurance carriers. We have to track client information, who/when we send information out to, and who provides what policy quotes back to us, and then track what policies the client buys. Client entries need name, full address, phone, email, website, etc., and then specific insurance information: limits, deductible, expiration date, and pricing for each of the coverages they have in place. Wholesale broker entries need contact information: name, agency name, address, etc. Types of commercial insurance policies can be found here: [login to view URL] Then, each time we send out an application to a wholesaler, that wholesaler will contact multiple insurance carriers. We'd like to track each insurance carrier they send the application to, when we contacted that wholesaler, and the limits, deductible, and pricing they give us from each insurance carrier as a quote. Various companies make systems that capture this information and do complete agency management, but we don't need the same level of functionality. Just for some background research: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Attached are 3 examples of declarations pages, which include the information we'd get back for each quote, from each insurance carrier, for "commercial general liability" coverage. Rather than detailing each deductible and limit, we could have: "per claim/occurrence limit" "aggregate limit" "limit 3" "limit 4" And deductibles "deductible 1", "deductible 2", etc Optional but desired: we'd like the client contact info to interface with our contacts in Outlook if possible, so we don't have multiple sets of contact information. Optional but desired: we'd like to be able to fill in parts of the Acord forms from the database, particularly the client contact information.
