Optimize & Enhance A Photography Flash Site

Our photography flash website needs optimization and enhancing. You can see the site at [login to view URL] - For the time being the site consists of only one major flash page with three major characteristics a)a dynamic image resize script, b)fading photos and main title animation and c)editable .xml file permitting the user to change the photos at his own discretion. The site has some major flaws as is that need correction such as smoother title animation and image crossfades. Furthermore, there is a major need for enhancements both simple and advanced not found previously on the site such as a menu addition, rollover effects on menu buttons etc. The final deliverables should include all source .fla files, fonts etc. ## Deliverables FLAW CORRECTIONS: 1) Optimize ALL animations - make title animation (ALEXIMAGING STUDIO) and the crossfades in-between the photos look smoother like in [login to view URL] . a) At the moment, photo quality is not what it should be and it the animations are not working as expected (smooth enough). We will be extremely pleased if you manage to copycat the exact behaviour of LACHAPELLE site in terms of smoothness in between photo animations. b) If needed add a loader animation to make sure that all animation that follows the title runs smoothly. Beware: The loader should not take more than 5 seconds to load. c) The site should be able to support at any given time about 30-35 photos at 72 dpi, with standard width: 2500 pixels and a dynamic height depending on the photo. ENHANCEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS: MODIFICATION #1) MAIN TASK:At the moment, the photographer is able to change the photos through an editable .xml file. After your modifications, the photographer should be able to change the "DURATION OF APPEARANCE" of any given photo. For example, the photographer should be able to define on the .xml file --> [login to view URL] 5 seconds, [login to view URL] 10 seconds etc. MODIFICATION #2) MAIN TASK: You should remove the subtitle. Photography&FilmamakingbyAlexKarmios. In its place, for each photo the photographer should be able to modify a "PHOTO DESCRIPTION" on the editable .xml file. SUBTASKS: a) We need the exact font type and style as the one saying MARIO TESTINO on http://www.mariotestino.com. b) The "PHOTO DESCRIPTION" should consist of 4 lines, for example: Name Line #1: John Doe Job Line #2: Angelina Jolie Private Shooting Date Line#3: 17, May 2010 Publication Line #4: Cosmoproductions c) All of the above should be included in the same .xml file as that of MODIFICATION #1 - so that the photographer should be able to select the photo he wants to SHOW, add or modify the description for that photo and the duration it will remain onscreen for the viewer. d) The 4-liner description should appear on the top left corner of any given photo with same fonts as that of MARIO TESTINO. ENHANCEMENT #1: MAIN TASK: Add the ability for the photographer to add a video to the site as that of http://www.mariotestino.com. SUBTASKS: a) Advise on the technology, type, size, and duration of the video so that final viewing quality is good and the loading times are kept small. b) Add the ability for the photographer to select which video appears and in which row at the .xml file. For example, the video could be before any photo or in between them --> 1) [login to view URL] 2) [login to view URL], 3)Video1, 4)Video2, 5) [login to view URL] etc. ENHANCEMENT #2: MAIN TASK: Add a menu like that of LACHAPELLE.COM. SUBTASKS: a) When the viewer goes over ALEXIMAGINGSTUDIO with his mouse (rollover effect) a menu should appear. The menu animation should be similar to that of [login to view URL] though the animation and the white transparent background should move from the top to the bottom and not from left to right. b) The menu titles should be: EDITORIAL COVERSTORIES ADVERTISING CATALOGS MUSICINDUSTRY PEOPLE MOREPROJECTS FILMARCHIVE BACKSTAGE SEARCH THESTUDIO NEWS SUBSCRIBE ABOUTALEX CONTACT c) All fonts should be exactly similar to that of MARIO TESTINO site ([login to view URL]) d) Any rollover effects should be "degrading silver" in terms of colour change. 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future). ## Platform Should run smoothly on IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari latest editions.
