To keep it short lets have the countries and their capital example part we can show the Glob, initially on the lower level, we can highlight three four countries on globe, and ask which one is xyz country. later we can remove the increase the number of choices, later we can go for capitals, give the name of the country and highlight it on globe and give options which one is the capital. later on we can remove the choices as well and the kid has to write the name it self. i have more detailed picture in my head with small details as well, let me know if you are interested

My idea for this game would be capable of being run on a mobile device or standard computer. On the back end there would be a database that would hold an answer and question. This form would also contain multiple tags such as : geography, presidents, basic, average, advanced, etc. The game would have a couple "styles": definition, fill in the blank, and multiple choice. each of these game "styles" would add the appropriate field from the database form along with 3 other answers with similar tags from the database. There would then be multiple game modes: adventure, time trials, and one shot. Each mode would allow the user to pick which style the mode will use. in adventure mode it would just keep a score of how many questions the user got right, and had an endless amount of questions. in time trials there is a set amount of time, and it keeps track of how many you got right during the time limit. in one shot you have a small time limit say, 20 seconds or so per question. You keep answering questions until you get one wrong, or let the time expire on a question. All 3 modes should be able to log the highest score you have and send a "challenge" to their friends either via app to app or Facebook messenger. This game would recycle its database for all modes and styles. This allows easy updates to the game with modes or database content keeping the game from going stale.
