I am looking for a talented illustrator who can complete a set of colorful illustrations for kids 2-5 years old. This book is about a three-year-old boy helping with chores in his house and outside on his small family farm. He sees himself as ‘Amazing AJ,’ as he does his best to help without realizing the chaos he leaves behind him. The project scope consists of 24 illustrations plus a cover. Six illustrations are two-page spreads, 15 are single page pictures, and three are small spots less than ½ page each. One of the small spots is simply the main character with no background. All others are full-scene, colorful illustrations of the boy, usually with one or two additional family members required, and various farm animals. I’ve attached two sample illustration styles below. These illustrations shall not have been used previously anywhere, nor can they be used in the future. I am requesting copyright/commercial rights. A transfer of copyright agreement will be signed. In addition to the source files, I am requesting original source files and JPEG files for all illustrations for the final submission. Please include a link to your portfolio.
