I am looking for a freelancer to help me set up a solar system remote monitoring system for a residential property I am looking after. The main objective of the remote monitoring system is to ensure predictive maintenance by monitoring temperature and dust over the solar panels. With this system in place, I am hoping to ensure that the solar panels are functioning optimally. The system for the residential property is relatively small; there are less than 50 solar panels in the system. I am looking for a skilled freelancer who is experienced in setting up these types of systems, and who can advise me on the best configuration for a satisfactory result. I am open to hearing your ideas for this project and your suggestions on how to make the remote monitoring system run most efficiently. Detailed Scope of works -IOT project Project name: IOT solution for solar power system monitoring : Requirements: Remote monitoring of solar power systems through web portal /App : Capacity of solar systems to be considered - 5KW (15 PV panels ) for the pilot project. Monitoring required for below : • Dust accumulation over panels – with dust sensor • Temperature increase of the panels - with temperature sensors or Infrared camera • Fault notifications if no feedback from sensors • Real time data for power production /consumption /grid exports ( from Smart meters through Modbus ) • Analyzing the yield based on above parameters and predict maintenance requirements Proposed controller shall have the provision of future expansion Scope shall include the supply of all field sensors for total IOT solution for 5KW solar systems ,preparation of detailed project reports , Training for the field implementation team , back-end support and warranty of 5 years . Proposed IOT spare options : Only for reference . Service provider can propose if any suitable alternate models.
