Simple javascript animation involving objects and landscape

Requirement 1: Need to animate some objects on screen involving javascript. Graphics will be provided by me. The objects should move in accordance with user-control keys or buttons added onto screen, that sets the direction of movement of the objects, such that pressing such buttons for objects to move up, move down, move left, move right on screen or diagonally across screen should be available on the screen. Need the underlying source codes. Requirement 2: For the background against which the objects move across, I need it to be a forest area showing maybe only 20% or less of the whole area on screen at anytime, but as user drags the area left or right or up or down or diagonal across, user shall see more parts of the whole forest revealed on screen. Someone experienced will know what I mean.
