Hi! I think I can help you installing Kolab in a server by developing a set of automated scripts and documentation to help use them. You mentioned bash scripts, but I could also develop Chef, Ansible or whatever kind of automated configuration system to install a Kolab server. The point with this kind of automation is that it is documentation that becomes executable code that can configure your server multiple times. Please tell me if you are interested in that.
