Ubuntu-based RTMPS Live Streaming Server Setup

Project Description: We are looking for an experienced server developer to set up an RTMPS live streaming server on an Ubuntu system. The main objective of this project is to enable live streaming with multiple bitrate options, ensuring a high-quality viewing experience across various devices and network conditions. Additionally, the streams will be delivered using MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) with CENC (Common Encryption) and must be compatible with PlayReady DRM for content protection. Responsibilities: 1) Install and configure the necessary software on an Ubuntu server for RTMPS live streaming. 2) Enable multiple bitrate streaming to adjust video quality dynamically based on the viewer's bandwidth. 3) Implement DASH CENC streaming to secure the content with PlayReady DRM. 4) Conduct thorough testing to ensure stability, security, and compatibility across different devices and platforms. 5) Provide documentation on the server setup and streaming configuration. Requirements: 1) Proven experience with live streaming technologies and server setup, especially on Ubuntu. 2) Strong understanding of RTMP, RTMPS, MPEG-DASH, and DRM technologies. 3) Experience with PlayReady DRM integration. 4) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5) Ability to communicate clearly and provide regular updates. Deliverables: 1) A fully functional RTMPS live streaming server on Ubuntu. 2) Documentation detailing the server configuration, streaming setup, and DRM integration. 3) A final report outlining the project implementation and testing outcomes.
